Golden Eaglets’ 6-0 hammering of The Joeys has set up a tantalising quarter-final fixture against the Samba Boys of Brazil who ran away with a late goal against New Zealand on Sunday at the same venue. The encounter will be the second time both teams would meet after Nigeria earned a 2-1 win over the Samba Boys at the Suwon U-17 International Tournament in September. Amuneke said the Brazilians would be accorded the needed respect as one of the favourites, adding the Golden Eaglets already have their work cut out. “It is going to be an interesting game and we have seen what the Brazilians can do with or without the ball,” noted Amuneke. “All what we have to do now is to keep working hard so that we can come with stronger plans to play them on Sunday.”
