Awoniyi, Success top Nigeria’s African U23 championship squad
Nigeria U23 coach Samson Siasia Manu Garba has named his 21-man squad players for the 2015 African U23 Championship in Senegal.
The Dream Team VI will be hoping to secure a place in Rio 2016 and have been drawn in the same group with Senegal, Egypt and Algeria in Group B.
Regular suspects such as Taiwo Awoniyi, Seun Oduduwa , Sincere Seth, Junior Ajayi and Azubuike Okechukwu made the final list, while Sunshine Stars’ Prince Aggreh was axed.
There are three goalkeepers, six defenders, eight midfielders and four strikers.
The Dream Team VI face Mali in their first game of the championship on November 29.
